Four-row drive roller chains according to GOST
Four-row drive roller chains, having increased strength (compared to low-row configurations), are used in conditions of increased loads.
Industrial equipment, road and railway machinery, lifting cranes, bulldozers and tractors, agricultural conveyors and conveyors, shipbuilding, mining and oil industry – this is an incomplete list of industries in which these chains are used.
The main advantages of GOST four-row drive roller chains:
- Increased strength and ability to withstand high loads (from 260 kN in 4NP-25.4 to 2080 in 4TP-63.5 according to GOST 21834-87);
- Resistance to aggressive environments (given the possibility of using SS stainless steel);
- High reliability in work;
- Low maintenance cost.
At the same time, it should be taken into account that chains of this design are sensitive to contamination, they require more careful installation and careful monitoring during operation.
